Agricultural and Industrial Education Background: Paul was raised on a cattle ranch in Lamoille, Nevada which his family still owns and operates. He graduated from Elko High School in Elko, Nevada and put himself through college at the University of Nevada Mac. C. Fleischmann College of Agriculture in Reno where he received a B.S. Degree in Agricultural Education (1971-75). While in college he was active in the UNR Aggie Club and was at one time president as well as selected as the Outstanding Aggie Club Senior in 1976. While at College he was also selected outstanding Freshman Boxer in 1974. Work Background: Paul taught Vocational Agriculture grades 7-12 for two years: 1976-77 in Browning Montana on the Blackfoot Indian Reservation and 1977-78 in Wells, Nevada. He left teaching for other opportunities. From 1978-83 he was hired as the Executive Secretary of the Nevada Cattlemen’s Assn. as their CEO. He left this position to start his own business “Nevada High Country Sales and Service” which included a Outfitting and Guide Service, a Livestock feed and supplement and fertilizer sales business, Cattle and Real Estate sales. For the past 16 years he has owned and operated his own Real Estate Brokerage firm “Bottari Realty Inc.” based out of Wells, NV. The Outfitting business was sold and feed sales replaced by Real Estate as he became more involved in this business. Agricultural propertiesand land are his specialty and he has listed and sold properties throughout Northern Nevada and a few in Southern Nevada. He and his family also run a small hay farm and grazing operation located near Wells. Professionally he is a member of the State, local, and National Association of Realtors with an additional membership in the Realtor’s Land Institute a specialized group of brokers and agents with land and agricultural interests. Additionally he has served four terms on the Nevada Assn. of Realtor’s Legislative Committee where he provided agricultural expertise. He is currently a member of the Local Board of Realtors Board of Directors .. He is involved with the local chamber of commerce and has been a past president and is now the Economic Development Chair.
